Storybook Lane needs some a few more FRIENDS!
Storybook Lane has been a Christmas season tradition in New Philadelphia for more than 60 years.  The brightly painted Mother Goose characters depict the classic nursery rhymes such as Mary Had A Little Lamb, Humpty Dumpty, and many others.  The lighted display will be open nightly in Tuscora Park during the month of December.  Storybook Lane was adopted by the New Philadelphia Rotary Club  in 2003 when club members completely renovated the 24 Mother Goose characters.  The character boards were repaired and repainted, missing parts replaced, and the moving mechanisms and motors were repaired or replaced.  All new lighting was provided for the display.
To make this possible, the Rotary Club has partnered with dozens of individuals and businesses in the area who support the project as a FRIEND.  For a donation of $100, a FRIEND of Storybook Lane is recognized with a line on one of the Friends Boards that are part of the display.  The one-time donation as a FRIEND covers a three-year period.  To download the FRIEND donation form, click HERE
At this time all SPONSOR positions on the character verse boards are filled.  Thank you all for your support!!
Those who have supported Storybook Lane as a Friend or Sponsor in the past will be contacted by e-mail or postal mail when it is time to renew.
